How many times can you take a Quiz?
The quizzes may be taken as many times as you like and do not require a passing score. The highest scored is recorded in the Grade Center.

How many times can you take the PA?
The PA assignment for each chapter can only be taken once. The PA assignments do not require a passing or failing score. Be sure to go back and review your answers before you save and submit your work. This assignment is not a timed exam so you can take all the time you need. The PA is only allowed for one attempt because the answers are given to you once the assignment is submitted.
If you want to save your online PA and resume later, click Save All Answers and log out. If you click Save and Submit you won’t be able to enter it again.

How many times can you take a Chapter Review?
A chapter review can be taken twice. The highest score is posted. You must pass this with a 70% or higher. Please contact me at tskeyes@foundartionbmc.com if you need additional assistance or have questions.

What do I need to do to complete all the work for a chapter?
Completion requires you to complete the Quiz, complete the PA and attain 70% or higher on the Review.

How is my final score calulated?
For my grading, I take an average of all the Quizs, Practical Applications, and Chapter Reviews.

For AAPC, they use the following formula:
Total average of Chapter Quizzes – 10%
Total average of Practical Applications – 20%
Total average of Chapter Review Exams – 50%
Final Exam – 20%
To receive the certificate of completion, it is required to complete all Chapter Quizzes and Practical Application assignments, and achieve a passing score of at least 70% on all Chapter Review Exams, on the Final Exam, and in the course overall.

How can I review or print my completed chapter assignments?
To review your completed assignments:
• Click on the “Tools” link in the course
• Click on “My Grades”
• Click on the name of the assignment you want to review (the name of the assignment is a link)
• Click on the score % you achieved that you want to review
• Here you can see the test questions, your answer selection and the correct answer
OR
• From the main My Organization page in Blackboard, click on the “View Scores” link
• Click on “My Results”
• Click on “All courses” to view all grades
• Click on the name of the assignment you want to review (the name of the assignment is a link)
• Here you can see the test questions, your answer selection and the correct answer
There is no print feature in the course because this is an online course with protected information. If you are able to print from your system, below are instructions depending on what browser you are using.

To print in Firefox:
When you want to print the entire frame, right click on the frame (test) you want to print,
Select this frame, select print frame. This should print the entire test.

To print in Internet Explorer: Click CTRL+A to select all of the page. Right click and select print preview. At the top, from the middle drop down, select “as selected on screen
